I turn the big 3 - 0 this week. This post isn't meant to solicit birthday greetings, but rather to express my awe at this new journey in my life. I'm not afraid or embarrassed to be thirty, I just never really thought I'd be thirty years old, so the idea is mind boggling. Weird.

I didn't ever think I would be 30 either! It was a great birthday for me! I have LOTs to show for my 30 years and I have absolutely LOVED my first year of being 30. So many good things happening- I don't have an identity crisis and am so comfortable with myself and my relationships!! :) Welcome to the TERRIFIC 30's!!!
I completely understand. I am going to pretend like that day doesn't exist for me this year.
